K Group a main sponsor for the Pink Ribbon campaign for Finnish cancer research for the sixth year

K Group stores are once again actively taking part in the Finnish Cancer Foundation’s annual Pink Ribbon (Roosa nauha) campaign, which raises funds for Finnish cancer research. The campaign launches on 22 September 2020. This is the sixth year K Group acts as one of the campaign’s main sponsors. All in all, K Group has been collaborating on the campaign with the Finnish Cancer Foundation for 12 years.

Survey: Finns’ more interested in preferring Finnish products – K Group’s sales data shows a change in attitudes

A survey commissioned by the Association for Finnish work, Ruokatieto association and Finnish Glasshouse Growers’ Association shows that during the coronavirus epidemic, the majority of Finns want to buy products and services that provide work for Finnish people. Approximately one third of Finns say that the coronavirus epidemic has changed their attitudes towards the origin of products and services. K Group’s sales data confirms that the change in attitudes can be seen through the increased popularity of Finnish products.

K Group introduces new service: K-Ostokset now shows the nutritional values of your grocery purchases

K Group customers can now use the K-Ostokset service to examine how much they are consuming, for example, sugar or vegetables. Customers can compare their data to national nutritional recommendations and set themselves objectives for consumption. Before, the K-Ostokset service already enabled users to see how much Finnish products they are purchasing and what the carbon footprint of their grocery purchases is.
