The grocery trade division took steps to make digital shopping easier. The Scan & Buy service – in which grocery shoppers can scan the products they buy using the K-Ruoka mobile app as they move around the store and pay the final total on their way out – expanded to include 60 stores. The K-Plussa loyalty card can now be added to Apple Wallet, and going forward, loyalty customers may choose to be fully digital, with no physical loyalty card, which can save up to 1,000 kilograms of plastic per year.
