THE CITYMARKET RETAILER IN SALO WITHDRAW HIS ACTION AGAINST KESKO

Mika J. Valtanen Oy and Mika Valtanen have withdrawn an action against Kesko Corporation based on a notice that they claim to be contrary to contract. After this action has been withdrawn, there are eight legal actions brought by Supermarket retailers pending in the Helsinki district court.

The primary compensation claim included in the actions brought against Kesko Corporation, based on alleged breach of contract, has decreased by about FIM 8.7 million (about EUR 1.5 million) to a total amount of about FIM 82 million (about EUR 13.8 million). The alternative claim based on the modification of contract has decreased by about 6.5 million (about EUR 1.1 million) to a total amount of EUR 61.5 million (about EUR 10.3 million).
