KESKO’S NORGROS DEAL TO BE CANCELLED

On 14 November 2001, Kesko signed a preliminary agreement to acquire the majority shareholding of Norgros ASA that owns Norway’s largest hardware and building materials store chain, Byggmakker. The preliminary agreement did not lead to any final agreement and the deal in the form informed is not implemented.
