Rautia's 'Kotitalo' and 'Kimara' at the single-family housing exhibition in Tuuri, Töysä

Rautia participates in the 'Koti Sinulle' (a home for you) housing exhibition in Tuuri, Töysä from 5 to 27 July 2008. Its exhibits are house No. 11, a Kotitalo single-family house, and exhibit No. 12, a sauna cottage representing the Kimara collection.

The exhibition ground is the new Talasniitty residential area, which is wide, diversified and natural, and has services close by. The exhibition displays single-family and terrace houses built from stone, logs or wood.

"A wooden Kotitalo home is delivered in assembled components and is quickly ready to live in. The family living in our exhibit 'Kotitalo' have already made themselves at home in the 128.5 square metre house. The couple's wishes concerning the modifiability of the house have been taken into account in the floor plan. The heating system of their choice is ground heat," says Product Manager Timo Nieminen of Rautakesko.

'Kotitalo' has a traditional design, but individual space arrangements can be made. The components of a Kotitalo house can be assembled without a big team. The model collection includes single-family houses, holiday homes and yard buildings.

"The yard and the convenience of living is complemented by a separate 'Kimara' sauna cottage made of round logs and equipped with a small fireplace and a mini kitchen. Its roofed terrace is ideal for cooling off between and after sauna sessions," adds Product Manager Pekka Kivimäki.
