Kauko-Telko's subsidiary the Finnish Company of the Year in Poland

Telko Group's (Kauko-Telko) Polish subsidiary, Telko Poland Ltd, has been awarded The 2007 Finnish Company of the Year in Poland Award. This annual recognition is awarded by the Finnish Trade Guild and Finpro Poland. The eligible companies are evaluated on the criteria of visibility, business success and sustainability, and their ability to carry out challenging business development processes successfully.

Since 1966, many well-known Finnish companies have entered the Polish market through Telko Poland (former Metex). The award was given to Telko Poland based on their steady growth achieved in sales and results, the balance of exports and imports, their long-standing role in establishing Finnish companies in the Polish market, and their ability to motivate personnel to long lasting employments.

Telko Poland operates in three sectors of the technical trade: industrial machinery, food industry and raw materials. In 2007, the company's net sales were about €20 million and it employs about 45 people.
