Recap of Kesko’s key events in Q4/2025

Kesko will publish its results for Q4 and full-year 2025 on Thursday, 5 February 2026, at around 8.00 am Finnish time. An English-language audiocast/teleconference for investors and analysts will be held at 9.00 am Finnish time. Below is recap of main news and events in Q4.

NEWS, FINANCIALS AND SHARES

SALES DEVELOPMENT

GROCERY TRADE

  • Kesko announces three new hypermarket stores in the Greater Helsinki area. Kesko will be strengthening its network of grocery trade hypermarkets in the growing cities of Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa in upcoming years: in Helsinki, a new K-Citymarket will open in the Redi shopping centre in Kalasatama, while in Vantaa the plan is to build a hypermarket in Tikkurila’s Tikkuri shopping centre, and in Espoo construction work has begun on a new K-Citymarket store in the Espoontori shopping centre.   • Kesko sells 10 grocery store properties and targets investments in strategically important store sites in growth centres. Kesko continues the strategic development of its store site network by selling ten grocery store properties to the Swedish Prisma Properties AB and signing long-term leases on them. The divestment supports Kesko’s objective of focusing its store site investments in areas with the strongest consumer demand and population growth. (release)

  • Interview with division President Ari Akseli: market share can be turned around by focusing on price, quality and the store network. In a video interview – recapped in our investor blog – Ari Akseli discusses grocery trade market shares, K Group’s long-term price programme and store network development, as well as the role of K-retailers, private label products and retail media.   • K-Citymarket Pirkkala named one the "2026 Must-See Stores" by the UK-based Institute of Grocery Distribution (IGD) as an example of a store for the future that kaupasta offers unqiue and inspiring selections and international flavours. (release in Finnish)

CAR TRADE
