CHANGE IN KESKO CORPORATION’S DIVIDEND RECORD AND PAYMENT DATES

The Finnish Central Securities Depository Ltd has given new instructions concerning the dividend record date. According to the new instructions, Maundy Thursday 12 April 2001 is not a clearing day of the book-entry securities system. Kesko Corporation’s dividend record date is Tuesday 17 April 2001, instead of Thursday 12 April 2001, and for the same reason, the Board of Directors will propose Tuesday 24 April 2001, instead of 23 April 2001 that was previously proposed, for the date from which dividends are payable.
