KESKO GROUP SELLS REAL ESTATE PROPERTIES TO CITYCON

Kesko Corporation and its subsidiary Hämeenkylän Kauppa Oy, Kesko’s associated company Center-yhtiöt Oy and Kesko Pension Fund sell a total of 18 real estate properties used for retail trading to Kiinteistösijoitus Oyj Citycon. The value of the deal is FIM 764.1 million, of which the share of Kesko Pension Fund is FIM 91.8 million. Kesko Group’s profit on the sale of these properties is FIM 93.9 million.

The retail sites and premises to be sold are mainly used by K-retailers. Kesko will rent back from Citycon the retail sites and premises actively used by retailers and will provide them to K-retailers.
