Hehku considers discontinuing its operations

In March 2017, Kesko Corporation and Oriola Corporation announced they would establish a new joint venture, Hehku Kauppa Oy, for a store chain specialising in health, beauty and wellbeing. The joint venture has not met the business and financial targets set, and Hehku Kauppa is therefore considering discontinuing its operations.

Hehku Kauppa has decided to initiate statutory codetermination negotiations with its entire personnel regarding the possible discontinuation of the company's business operations. The negotiations concern approximately one hundred people. Hehku Kauppa has 19 stores, an online store and corporate functions.
