KESKO CORPORATION PRESS RELEASE 17.10.2013 AT 09:00 1 (1)
Kesko has conducted a competitive tendering process and signed new maintenance management agreements for properties for whose maintenance it is responsible. Starting from the beginning of 2014, Ovenia Oy, Caverion Suomi Oy and Lassila &Tikanoja Oyj will be responsible for the maintenance.
Ovenia will assume responsibility for organising the maintenance of properties in other parts of Finland except the Greater Helsinki area. Caverion will be responsible for the operations in the Greater Helsinki area. L&T will organise the maintenance of all of Neste Oil K-market service station stores in Finland from the beginning of next year.
Caverion will be responsible for the control room and helpdesk services throughout Finland.
Kesko's centralised maintenance operations cover nearly 900 different properties with a total area of approximately 3,000,000 m2.
- The selection of these partners is aimed to renew the operating systems of property maintenance and to achieve significant cost savings and better quality. At the same time, we will strengthen our own business oriented control of maintenance operations, says Maintenance Unit Manager Jukka Anttila.
