Kesko to centralise staff restaurant services to Antell-Catering Oy
Kesko and Antell today signed a cooperation agreement to the effect that Antell-Catering Oy will provide staff restaurant services to 11 Kesko offices starting from 1 January 2007. The restaurants are located in different parts of Finland and have over 1,500 daily visitors. The agreement also covers catering services for meetings, hospitality and business guests in those offices.
Most of the restaurants referred to in this agreement are located in the Greater Helsinki area, but Kesko's District Centres in Tampere, Turku, Oulu and Kuopio are also included. The latter two already have Antell-Catering Oy as their service provider.
"Centralising the service provision to one partner gives us better opportunities to successful cooperation. We expect the partner to provide tasty and healthy meals, but also flexibility, efficiency and consideration for customer needs. It is important to me that our staff restaurant services are well organised and that the food is versatile, because for most of our employees, the staff restaurant lunch is the main meal of the day," says Riitta Laitasalo, Senior Vice President for Kesko's Human Resources.
