Kesko Corporation’s new Managing Director is Matti Halmesmäki

Kesko Corporation’s Board of Directors today appointed Rautakesko Ltd’s and Kesko Agro Ltd’s President Matti Halmesmäki, M.Sc. (Econ.), LL.M. (b. 1952), as Kesko Corporation’s Managing Director and the Kesko Group’s President and Chief Executive Officer as from 1 March 2005.

A news briefing will be held today at 17.00 on the 6^th floor of Kesko’s main office building, Satamakatu 3, Helsinki.
