Appeal submitted of the Finnish Competition Authority's approval of the transfer of Indoor Group Ltd to Kesko

An appeal has been submitted to the Market Court concerning the Finnish Competition Authority's approval of the transfer of Indoor Group Ltd to Keswell Ltd, a Kesko subsidiary. Piscina Oy of Vantaa demands that the Market Court reverse the decision of the Finnish Competition Authority concerning the deal or to return the case to the Finnish Competition Authority. Keswell Ltd considers the appeal unjustified.

The deal is subject to approval of competition authorities of Finland, Sweden, Estonia and Latvia and to the fulfilment of other conditions precedent.

Because of the appeal, the performance of the deal will be postponed.
