Ilkka Niemi to head Kesko’s Internal Audit and Risk Management
Ilkka Niemi, M.Sc. (Econ.), has been appointed as Senior Vice President, Chief Audit and Risk Officer, at Kesko Group. Niemi currently acts as Vice President, Head of Group Internal Audit at Metso Outotec.
Niemi will assume his new position on 18 October 2021, and will report to President and CEO Mikko Helander on internal audit and to EVP, CFO Jukka Erlund on risk management.
Kesko’s current SVP, Chief Audit and Risk Officer Pasi Mäkinen will retire at the end of 2021.
