Kesko appointed management for speciality goods trade

Kesko has appointed Presidents for the shoe, home technology and sports business. Martti Toivanen (45), M.Sc. (Econ), has been appointed President of WellStep Ltd; Jussi Mikkola (51), M.Sc. (Econ), has been appointed President of Musta Pörssi Ltd; and Juha Nurminen (43), Business College Graduate, has been appointed President of Intersport Finland Ltd. The appointments will come into effect on 1 May 2007.

Martti Toivanen, who has been appointed President of WellStep Ltd, has been employed by Kesko since 1987. He is the current President of Musta Pörssi Ltd. His previous positions have included Sales Director of Rautakesko and Kesko Agricultural and Machinery.

Jussi Mikkola, who has been appointed President of Musta Pörssi Ltd, has been employed by Kesko since 1982. He is the current President of Intersport Finland Ltd. His previous positions have included Chain Director and Department Manager of Kesko Sports.

Juha Nurminen, who has been appointed President of Intersport Finland Ltd, has been employed by Kesko since 1987. He is the current Sales Director of Intersport Finland. His previous positions have included Managing Director of Interwell Ltd, and Sales Director and Marketing Manager of Kesko Sports.
