Aatos Kivelä appointed Managing Director of Konekesko

Aatos Kivelä (50), LL.M., M.Sc. (Econ), has been appointed Konekesko Ltd's Managing Director as from 8 November 2005. His previous position was Financial Director of VV-Auto.

Kivelä's former posts have included Director of VV-Auto's dealer organisation and Kesko Food's Vice President responsible for controlling, IT and personnel. He has been employed by Kesko since 1983.

Konekesko Ltd is a service company specialising in the importation and marketing of recreational, construction and environmental machinery and trucks, and related auxiliary services. The company's net sales totalled 173 million euros in 2004 and it employs approximately 300 people. The brands marketed by Konekesko include Yamarin, Yamaha, Case, New Holland, Kubota and MAN.
