Total number of Plussa cards exceeds three million

The number of K-Alliance’s Plussa cards has now exceeded three million in Finland. The exact figure at the end of April was 3,003,236. After the revision implemented at the turn of the year, the K-Alliance’s customer loyalty programme Plussa has strengthened its position as the widest and most versatile customer loyalty programme in Finland.

In co-operation with its partners, Plussa provides versatile services to the loyal customers of the K-Alliance. Plussa was launched towards the end of 1997, and today Plussa is the widest and most versatile customer loyalty programme in Finland. The system includes about 3,000 outlets and 80 co-operation partners of Kesko. There are Plussa card holders in some 1.6 million households (the total number of households in Finland is 2.4 million).

The Plussa programme was revised at the turn of the year. As a result, point calculation was simplified and the number of partners increased. The use of vouchers also became more versatile. During the first part of this year, Finnkino, Holiday Club, Europcar and KohdematkatKaleva have joined the partner network. In addition, Plussa co-operation with Neste has expanded to include nearly all products and services provided by the Neste stations. Plussa is managed and developed by a Kesko Corporation subsidiary, K-Plus Oy.
