MySAP.COM SOLUTION CHOSEN FOR THE INFRASTRUCTURE OF KESKO’S REFORMS
Kesko has chosen mySAP.com software for the infrastructure of its operations control systems to be reformed. The supply contract was signed on 4 December 2000.
The reform is called for by extensive changes taking place in Kesko’s business operations: more cohesive chain operations, changes in the group structure and increasingly international operations.
The mySAP.com software will be used for the operational basic applications of Kesko’s business sectors between 2001-2004. The new mySAP.com system will replace Kesko’s current operations control system which was introduced in 1983.
"The decision will have long-run effects. We have chosen the next generation’s tools for a further development of our basic processes. Comprehensive implementation projects will follow within the next few years", says Eero Vesterinen, Director of Kesko’s Information Management.
