Kesko opened the eighth K-ruoka store in Russia

Kesko today opened a new K-ruoka store at Gostilitskoye Shosse 58 in Peterhof, in the city of St. Petersburg.

The K-ruoka store is the chain's eighth store. It is located on a property owned by Kesko in the north-western part of St. Petersburg and has good traffic connections on the road connecting the ring road to Peterhof. There are around 110,000 residents in the nearby areas of the store.

According to Kari Heiskanen, Kesko Food's Country Director for Russia, the K-ruoka store concept has proved to be very competitive.

- Based on our good experiences, we will continue the implementation of our strategy for Russia, while naturally carefully considering every new capital expenditure.
