K-citymarket Oy and Anttila Oy to have new management

K-CITYMARKET OY AND ANTTILA OY PRESS RELEASE 08.11.2013 AT 13.00 1(1)

The management of K-citymarket Oy and Anttila Oy will be revised effective from 15 November 2013. The reforms are aimed to improve sales and profit, to reform marketing and to enhance operations. The changes will also accelerate the development of the NetAnttila, citymarket.fi and Kodin1.com online stores.

Antti Ollila,M.Sc. (Agr. & For.), 48, has been appointed President of K-citymarket Oy and Anttila Oy. His previous position was Vice President for Commerce at Rautakesko. Antti Ollila joined Kesko in 1994.

Martti Toivanen,M.Sc. (Econ.), 52, has been appointed Director responsible for K-citymarket Oy's and Anttila Oy's marketing and customer relationships. His previous position was President of Kenkäkesko Ltd. Martti Toivanen joined Kesko in 1987.

Mika Kakko,Business College Graduate, 40, has been appointed Director of the NetAnttila, citymarket.fi and Kodin1.com online stores. Mika Kakko's previous position was Director of the Asko chain and he joined Kesko in 1994.

Jukka Koivunen, M.Sc. (Econ.), 51, has been appointed Director responsible for K-citymarket Oy's and Anttila Oy's finance and administration. His previous position was Director responsible for K-citymarket Oy's and Anttila Oy's sales and sourcing. Jukka Koivunen joined Kesko in1985.

All of these appointments will be effective from 15 November 2013.

K-citymarket is a diversified and affordably priced hypermarket chain with wide selections of both foods and home and speciality goods. There are currently 80 K-citymarket department stores and the citymarket.fi online store in Finland. In 2012, K-citymarket Oy's home and speciality goods sales were €664 million.

Anttila's product lines include entertainment, fashion and home goods. Customers in Finland are served by 31 Anttila department stores, 13 Kodin1 department stores for interior decoration and home goods, the NetAnttila.com and Kodin1.com online stores and the digianttila.com download store. The NetAnttila online store also operates in Estonia and Latvia. In 2012, the sales of the Anttila and Kodin1 department stores and NetAnttila totalled €468 million.
