President and CEO Matti Halmesmäki continues as Vice Chair of the Confederation of Finnish Industries EK in 2011

Ole Johansson, President and CEO of Wärtsilä Corporation, has been elected as the new Chair of the Confederation of Finnish Industries EK for 2011. Matti Halmesmäki, Kesko's President and CEO, and Kari Jordan, President and CEO of Metsäliitto Group, continue as Vice Chairs of the Board. Antti Zitting, President of Sacotec Oy, continues to chair the Delegation for Entrepreneurs.

New members of the Board of EK are Pekka Lundmark, Konecranes Plc's President & CEO, and Kari Stadigh, Sampo plc's Group President and CEO. Elections were made at the autumn meeting of the General Assembly of EK on 25 November.
