Work experience placements

There are a variety of work experience placements available within the K-Group. The majority are in retail, but positions regularly become available in the Kesko Corporation and Kesko business lines.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a work experience position to all applicants, as we strive to provide a meaningful complement of experiences and adequate supervision.

The number of work experience positions, when they are available and in which areas, is decided on an individual basis by each K-store and unit of Kesko Group.

In seeking a work experience placement, it is worth directly contacting the K-store (contact details in the Consumers section) or Kesko Group unit (contact details in the Group section) that you are interested in.

Thesis co-operation

Cooperation with a thesis project depends on the research requirements of Kesko Group's individual units. A thesis project may be initiated as a request for research by the company or as a suggestion by a student.

In suggesting a thesis project, it is worthwhile considering the topic and which department or unit may be interested in it. A thesis project may be offered directly to a particular unit of Kesko Group, or to the Human Resources department (contact details in the Company section).
