The paid K-trainee programme is intended for students approaching the end of their studies and recent graduates from universities and universities of applied sciences. The K-trainee period lasts for nine months, after which the trainees are employed on a permanent basis by K-Group. In addition to on-the-job learning, the K-trainee programme includes activities common to all trainees, such as mentoring, in-house training within K-Group, on-the-job training at a store and a study trip.
At K-Group, trainees are supported by a large number of trading sector experts. By actively sharing their own competences and giving their best, trainees have an excellent opportunity to learn about the trading sector and to network within K-Group and with our stakeholders. On-the-job training at a store, which lasts one to three months, ensures that trainees have the capacity to understand the entire value chain of retail trade. The programme provides a strong foundation for various expert and supervisory roles in the trading sector.
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated future experts with different educational backgrounds to become K-trainees in various parts of our organisation. Every K is different. That is why every K-trainee is different. However, we all have some things in common: at K-Group, the customer and quality are at the core of everything we do.
