K-rauta and Rautia at the Holiday Housing Fair

The Holiday Housing Fair opened on Monday, 27 June in Mäntyharju. This year, the main themes are eco-efficiency and art. K-rauta and Rautia have built two ecological and energy- efficient holiday homes in the fair area.

Both K-rauta and Rautia are among the exhibitors of this year's Holiday Housing Fair. K-rauta's Omatalo Rantakukka and Rautia's Kimara are modern and well-designed, as well as ecological and energy-efficient holiday homes.

The surrounding landscape is part of the living atmosphere and the beautiful lake scenery has also inspired the interior design.

K-rauta's Omatalo Rantakukka (house No. 9) is accessible and ecological

The comfortable Omatalo Rantakukka is an energy-efficient and ecological holiday home designed for year-round use. Living comfort is complemented by a welcoming lakeside sauna, and an upstream swimming pool in the hobby and fitness room.

The Rantakukka house is exhibited by K-rauta Mikkeli.

- Not only accessibility but energy-efficiency are among the main themes of our holiday home, says retailer Jaakko Tuuli.

The energy classification of the Rantakukka house is A, and it is heated by ground heat and under-floor heating using hot water circulation. Rantakukka also has a heat-storing fireplace and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery.

Rantakukka's interior is decorated with Cello products and materials and it has been designed with view of leisure comfort and accessible living efficiency. The solutions make use of the surrounding landscape and the beautiful view to the lake, which add to the living comfort and closeness to nature appreciated at leisure.

Rautia's Kimara (house No. 1) is well-designed and energy-efficient

Rautia's Kimara holiday home is well-designed, energy-efficient and reasonably priced; a log house well-suited to the environment. Kimara's design highlights rational living: ecological log materials and reasonably affordable solutions.

- We wanted to build a comfortable, reasonably priced holiday home in agreement with the landscape, and to create a pleasant and attractive yard for a family with children, says Customer Relationships Manager Kai Helpiö of Rautakesko.

Kimara's large terrace and window wall open to the lake and the sun, which shines on the terrace almost all day.

- The beautiful nature around the house and the lake were the main sources of inspiration in the interior design, says Product Coordinator Tarja Viilola of Rautakesko, who decorated the Kimara interior.

Especially the tone of the outer wall colour was chosen to reflect the local natural environment of Mäntyharju, with its handsome pine trees and clear waters - complemented with some of their brown and slightly grey tones.

The energy classification of the holiday home is A and its model is Kimara 146; outer wall material is 180 mm laminated log. The holiday home has been designed according to the builder's wishes and the builder's main business partner has been the local Rautia Mäntyharju.
