Global Compact initiative

The Global Compact is a strategic policy initiative for businesses that are committed to aligning their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.

There are more than 8,000 participants, including over 6,000 businesses in more than 135 countries in the UN Global Compact.

In June 2009, the Global Compact Office thanked Kesko for excellent responsibility reporting and presented Kesko's Corporate Responsibility Report on its website as 'Notable'.
