The guide 'Our Responsible Working Principles' directs all employees of the K-Group to act according to common values and Kesko's Code of Conduct approved by Kesko Group's management.
Responsibility is everybody's business
The K-Group comprises K-stores, Kesko, Kesko's subsidiaries and their cooperation outlets. The K-Group has nearly 50,000 skilled employees in seven countries. Kesko and the K-Retailers' Association have developed a common Code of Conduct, which is followed in every K-store, in Kesko's various business operations and in all the countries in which we operate.
The Code of Conduct is titled 'Our Responsible Working Principles'. The guide ensures that everybody shares the view of the values and principles that direct each K-Group employee. This is a tool which specifies the most important elements of day-to-day responsibility. There are seven of them: complying with legislation, avoiding conflicts of interest, not giving or receiving bribes, creating a good working atmosphere, safety, confidentiality of customer information, and open communications.
